
Jay Flemma
Jay Flemma maintains a multifaceted career as both a high-stakes attorney and a prominent sports journalist. In the legal realm, he is a seasoned litigator and transactionalist who has provided expert testimony to the New York State Legislature and contributed to amicus briefs for the U.S. Supreme Court on landmark cases. Simultaneously, he serves as a broadcaster for iHeartRadio and Vice President of the North American Snowsports Journalists Association, having covered 35 major golf championships. Despite becoming an adaptive athlete following a 2024 medical incident, Jay remains a dedicated skier, golfer, and runner committed to lifelong improvement in his athletic pursuits.

ABOUT Jay Flemma
Jay leads a double life in several ways. First as an attorney, he’s balanced a life as a lawyer both a transactionalist and a litigator. Jay has lectured on various topics for over 25 years and has appeared as an invited expert witness four times at the Joint Budget Hearings of the Senate and Assembly of the state of New York discussing the confluence of the fiscal crisis, the
mortgage crisis, New York mortgage foreclosure law, and the current economic and political climate. He has advised clients litigating at and co-authored amicus briefs to the U.S. Supreme Court twice – first in MGM v. Grokster (2003) and again in Tyler v. Hennapin County (2023).
Secondly, Jay is also a full-time sports writer and TV/radio broadcaster for the Golf News Network and iHeartRadio. He is the current Vice President of the North American Snowsports Journalists Association. His iHeartRadio show “Jay Flemma Sports Report” is in regular rotation on the channel and
can be streamed as well. As a credentialed media member, he’s covered 35 major golf championships, including 18 U.S. Open Championships. His skiing adventures recently took him deep into the Andes Mountains of Patagonia, Argentina. An adaptive athlete since a medical incident in November of 2024, Jay is still an avid skier, golfer, and distance runner and plans on spending the rest of his life getting less dumb at those endeavors.
